Blackheads are a very common and annoying problem. It occurs when the skin pores get clogged due to the excess secretion of sebum and also due to dry dead skin. This oil is made by the sebaceous glands to make your skin supple. Women tend to be really upset by the sight of blackheads on their nose than men. Nowadays, we see both sexes looking for various methods to get rid of the blackheads on nose.
People of any age can have problems with blackheads on their skin but most often it is an issue during the teenage and adolescent years.
Here are a few skin care tips to get rid of them:
As a minimum, use face wash at least twice daily - once in the morning and once at night. Adding in another time is fine too, of course. Some people wash their faces up to ten times a day. Over ten times can be a bit extreme though.
After a good wash, using the appropriate moisturizer is important. Dry skin is unhealthy and can lead to many other skin troubles. Check if the moisturizer you are going to use has chemicals or agents that will clog your pores. After a face wash, you are opening up your pores and you do not want to worsen the problem by clogging your pores more with chemicals and other additives.
Do not apply a face mask more than once every week, as most face masks take off a layer of skin. Organic or as natural-as-you-can-find face mask products are recommended. Do not play with your skin by adding tons of chemicals to it. Applying a face mask once every week ensures that your skin will be shining all throughout the week.
Doctors recommend not touching your face to reduce acne. It can be difficult if it is a long-time habit, but the habit can eventually subside with a certain level of attention to the issue. Can you imagine all the things that you touch during the day? That is a lot bacteria and unwanted dirt that can get on your face if you are constantly touching your face.
Pillowcases contain a lot of residue from our hair and our face that collects during the day. If we sleep on this dirt every day and do not clean our pillowcases properly, we could be creating a perpetual problem.
Products that can contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are especially effective. These agents can prevent blackheads before they come and can also aid in clearing acne that are already present. Gels are used for normal to oily skin, while creams are used for sensitive or dry skin.
We all hate blackheads and erasing them can be such a pain but squeezing blackheads out is not the best idea as it can lead to inflamed skin and eventually scarring. We advise you to follow the above mentioned skin care tips that will help you to get rid of blackheads and prevent them altogether.
