Chocolate Toned Looks For Eyes And Lips!

Valentine's day is not always about wearing red, being glitz or a glam doll. It's about looking stunning for your valentine, in whatever makes you comfortable. Let your natural beauty do the talking with neutral tones and shades, dewy complexions and subtle shimmer. 

Now, for the Chocolate Day coming up on the 9th of February, we have got you covered with some chocolicious looks!

1.The “I am Minimal” look

To achieve a minimalistic look, concentrate only on accentuating the eyes, while keeping the rest of the face nude. Ombre for your eyelids is your best bet to ace this look. Use a dark brown  eyeshadow Shade close to your lash line, followed by a lighter shade of brown as you go upwards, and blend it out well. 

2.The “ I am Bold”  look

You can never go wrong with this kind of look, no matter what. Fill in your brows well, to create some definition for your face, and opt for a vampire burgundy matte lipstick look, that can then be paired with a slight metallic brown on the eyelid, just to enhance the look, and add some glow to it.
 

3. The “I only smoke with my Eyes” look

When in doubt, always smoke it out! One of the safest makeup looks ever! Smokey eye to the rescue… To create this look, you only need a black kajal pencil that smudges and a smokey eyeshadow palette, and this look can be paired with a nude lipstick to balance out the dark smokey eye. 

4.The “Vampy” look

For this look, using a good eyebrow pencil,  define your brows, and the eyelids can be filled with a nice, dark burgundy eyeshadow either all matte for a confident look, or with some added shine to give a glam look. Also a good chiseled contour would work well, as it would give more definition to the face and a great overall look. No blush, just a bronzed outlook, paired with a nice nudish brown lipstick shade.

5.The “I am the Opposite” look

Any guesses on what we mean by this? It’s the underrated reverse smokey eye look, that will be trending very soon (Well, in my opinion) All you need is a smudgy black kohl pencil and a good blending brush. Reverse smokey eye is basically a smokey eye, but done on the lower side of the eye, below the waterline instead of the eyelid. It’s a look that is mostly used at night, since it could be quite heavy to carry off in the end. If you want to wear a reverse smokey eye look during the day, I'd suggest going with a brown smokey eye instead of a dark black look. Both, paired with a nude lip, and matte nude eyes would look great..

6.The “I am Ombre” look

The recent uber famous ombre lip look… Take a darker colour of a chocolate toned shade, like a dark brown lip liner to outline your lip, and colour it in with a lighter shade of brown lipstick, creating a two toned ombre look, that can be worn anywhere, at any time! It can be paired with a light brown smokey eye, for a brunch day look, or a glitter eyeshadow look for a night party/wedding look. It could also just be worn for a simple lunch/meeting if combined with nude eyes and just a little blush and highlighter!

7.The “I am a Chocolate Girl” look

 As the name suggests, this look is composed of all shades of chocolate brown, inspired  by the very famous bronze matte looks of Kim Kardashain. This look comprises a deep contour ,no blush, tan foundation, a chocolate brown shade of lipstick and of course a well blended brown smokey eye on the eyelid, combined with a reverse brown smokey eye.
All in all, breaking the stereotypical thinking of Valentine's day is all red, and glam looks can be overlooked and transformed into rocking up with a chocolate inspired look, for your chocolate boy! Be Bold, be Confident, and be YOU this V Day!
