Choose the hue that suits your personality - fiery red, neon green, or aqua blue and turn heads with your fab look.
So without any further ado, let’s get started.
What is Bleaching?
Bleaching is a process where the formula oxidizes the melanin granules that’s present in the hairs while penetrating through the hair shaft. This can cause damage to hair follicles and therefore, healthy hair condition is recommended before bleaching. If the texture of the hair is rough and dry, try treating it with nourishing oils and cleansers before proceeding.
How to Prep Your Hair for Bleaching - Pointers To Keep In Mind Before Rolling Ahead

Keep a durable gap between processed hairs and the bleaching process:
Sometimes, hairs get a little damaged after being exposed to chemicals. As they take time to get healed naturally, bleaching your hair during that period is not a good idea. It gets more prone to damage and therefore a minimum gap of 4 months is highly recommended.
Don’t miss out on conditioning your tresses

Deep conditioning is super important while prepping your hair. Post cleansing, don’t miss out on conditioning your locks. You can also pick deep conditioning masks and use them twice a week. Don’t underestimate the power of natural ingredients too. Oiling the scalp and using homemade masks using egg, olive oil, banana, and coconut oil once/twice a week.
Avoid Heat Styling
While prepping your tresses, put a full stop to the heat styling way and also distance yourself from products that contain paraben and sulphates.
Overnight Oiling is Your BFF

Choose your fave oil and apply it deeply into the scalp, leaving it overnight to avoid dryness woes if you are planning hair bleaching at home. Oiling the scalp prevents moisture loss and replenishes the lost nutrients.
#QuickTip: Consult a trichologist before any hair treatment. Highly alkaline materials can damage your hair shaft, permanently breaking the melanin in the cuticles. The results may also include protein loss, hair damage, and skin irritation.
