This much raved-about lippi was one I thought I must have! It is lovely, though wayyyy deeper in hue than I normally wear. Its close in shade to MAC's Rebel at a better price. This is my 3rd Fran Wilson lipstick. They are lovely but hella over-priced. Yet must-haves in the daily wear catagory because they are easy to throw-on and go without high maintainance.

Do not be fooled by the black appearance of this lipstick! Once applied, it comes off as a beautiful wine color that leans a little towards purple. It can be applied very smoothly on the lips and does not pull or tug. It feels moisturized for the first couple of hours after application. The product lives up to its claim of lasting for 12 hours. It is extremely long lasting to the point that it can be difficult to remove as well. But that's a good thing because you do not need to constantly re-apply. I would have given it a 5 but I'm just giving it a 4 because it does dry out my lips after a few hours. But that's easily remedied with my lip balm. So if you're using this, do keep your lip balm at hand!
