It's def matte so like I recommend wearing a moisturising lip balm and put this on top and it'd be still really matte but would last longer and not make ur lips peel off or be cakey. Overall, it's worth buying except let me warn that the color is a bit more purple than what's shown in the pic. Plus, it's not completely non transfer proof. But it's long lasting unless you eat oily food. If you do, then it's completely gone.

Good formula
Sits well on lips, not patchy and very comfortable for a matte lipstick. Colour will look a bit purple-ish on fair skin tones!!
