I got my hairs colored for the first time and since this product is ammonia free, it is safe for hairs.

Best in its class
Color is good when freshly applied. It gives your hair a nice, glossy color. It claims to be ammonia free but hair becomes little brittle after use. It lasts little longer but definitely not for 28 washes!! A good choice as compared to other hair colors of the same category. Packaging can be improved.

Almost black on natural black hair
I bought this for my mom. Her hair is black and after coloring it could only cover the grey areas, rest of the hair remained black.
