• When it comes to sunscreen, the popular practice is to wear it during warmer months and, if one remembers, throughout the year. This generally happens because most sunscreen formulas can leave the skin feeling sticky and greasy, something that only adds to the discomfort in an already humid tropical Indian climate. While a lot of importance is placed on the SPF or sun protection factor of sunscreen, in reality, these sunscreens only block UVB rays. This leaves the skin exposed to visible light, infrared rays as well as UVA rays. It is important to understand that UV rays make up for only 5% of the total solar spectrum. The sun's complete spectrum majorly comprises of Visible Light, Infrared rays (IR) and UVA + UVB rays, which can harm the skin at a cellular level. These rays are present throughout the year, irrespective of the season and can even penetrate the clothes you wear and the windows of your vehicle. This is why sunscreen should be an everyday essential. Soleil Defense Gel Creme is a sunscreen powered by the revolutionary Full Light Technology, designed to protect your skin from the entire sun spectrum with RSF 90, PA++ and SPF 30. All of this in an oil-in-water emulsion that is lightweight, non-sticky and incredibly comfortable to wear every day, even in tropical weather conditions.
