I have been using anti aging creams since last 5 years (I am 35 years old now), and Olay total effects cream for last 3 years. I have used all variants of Olay total effects cream. Even after being a loyal user of Olay, I felt that my skin needs a change. Thanks to purplle.com for offering an unexpected discount on this new launch which I could not afford to miss. I would first outline the Pros and Cons of this cream and then give my personal view on using any anti aging creams.<br/>The cream is beige in colour and light in texture, easy to apply on face and blend. Needs only little bit for the entire face and neck. (Do not ever neglect your neck, a lesson learned in last five years. The skin of my neck looks older than my face :() Sooths the skin and smoothen it out to an extent that the appearance of the fine lines reduces. It is definitely moisturise your skin very well through out the day. It has SPF 21, so you might skip sunscreen, which although I would not do. (By the way, a good and effective sunscreen is the best anti aging product you can have.) But I didn't find any brightening effect. I definitely need a fine layer of foundation to even out my skin tone and get that extra brightening glow. The cream comes in a tub packaging, which isn't leak proof and also heavy. So, it is not travel friendly. <br/>Since I started using anti aging creams my skin becomes nourished, glowing and well moisturised. It also had declined the rate of appearance of new lines and wrinkles over the years. But the fine lines on my forehead and corner of the eyes, which appeared at the age of 30 never vanishes and deep inside I know it would never. According to my personal opinion, an anti aging cream can certainly nourish the skin better than an ordinary moisturizer and can delay the sign of aging but can never stop or revert. That way, this cream does pretty good job. Then is this cream worth to try? I think it is. Since it is less greasy that my Olay and less expensive by Rs.200. I wish they launch a night cream too.
