Tying the knot with the love of your life and looking fantastic on the big day is every girl’s dream. But the path to it is not all that easy. Dresses, invites, jewellery, venue… ufff once the wedding countdown starts it is easy to forget to take care of yourself. Purplle is here to help you get the perfect regiment so you glow like a star as you walk down the aisle. We have some of the coolest tips for brides on how to prepare for a wedding. It is as fun as can be, cause after all who does not like pampering themselves a bit?

Two months to go
Skincare is THE MOST IMPORTANT tick-box of any wedding preparation. Book an appointment with your dermatologist about two months in advance. At the end of the day, they will know what will work best for your skin. Especially when it comes to skin problems such as acne, blemishes, scars etc as it may take multiple sessions to remedy them. They will help you get your wedding skincare routine in place that will ensure you look absolutely stunning!
Make it a point to finalise your face look, your eyebrow and hair shape in particular. Work with your stylist to figure out the eyebrow shape that matches your features the best.

Get your hair game going! The one thing you cannot risk on your wedding day is a bad hair day. Sometimes it feels like our hair has a mind of its own. It goes through mood swings and takes us along for the ride. So to tame your hair for the big day, invest in a Keratin treatment. You can thank us later when you flaunt your silky locks on the big day with a perfect pre-bridal hair care routine. Find out which hair care products such as shampoos, conditioners and serums work for you and stick to them moving forward.

Three weeks to go
Finalise your make-up look! Follow your favourite influencers and styling guides. Take time out to piece together the look that works best for you and your dress. Pick out the makeup products you will be using, trust us, this should not be left to the last minute. From your brows to your pout, finalize the look as well as the product you are going to be using. Make sure you do a patch test since the last thing you would want is to get an allergic reaction. Once all of it is in place you will not have to worry about last-minute make-up mishaps.

Two weeks to go
When there are just two weeks left, you need to get your hair colour and look finalised. The best thing to do would be to meet your stylist and go over the colour and tones that suit your skin.

This is around the time when the pressure rises high. Believe us when we say a little meditation will go a long way. Taking some time out for yourself every day will do wonders. One of the best ways to relax is with the help of a good lavender essential oil. It can be added to carrier oil. Then you can gently massage into your scalp and body or be added to a diffuser to make your environment calmer. One thing you should absolutely avoid is doing an excess of anything, be it exercise or your diet. Just follow your regimen and make sure you have your me-time. One essential oil we would recommend is Lavender Essential Oil by Good Vibes, it is bound to help you de-stress and unwind.

Three days to go
It’s time to get your nails done! Select the shape, colour and size that compliments your wedding look and have them done professionally. They know the best techniques to glam up your tips.
Another important thing is to get all your waxing done three days prior. This is to avoid having irritated skin on the big day.

The D Day
Here comes the bride!! On the main day stay hydrated and moisturize your skin before applying all the makeup. Besides that, get ready to enjoy!! Do not forget to keep a touch-up kit with your bestie, it will help you through the day.
It’s your day so get ready to rock it! Take a ton of pictures that you can cherish later on!
